December in Review: The Month in Trends

YouTube Trends is not yet even a month old, but we've covered a pretty diverse array of videos in the blog portion of the site over the past few weeks. As we reach the end of the month (and the year) we wanted to look back at some of what we explored since we officially unveiled the site back on the 13th:

• Our biggest undertaking was a twelve-day 2010 countdown of top 10 lists covering every major category and genre on YouTube. (Plus a bonus Most Shared of 2010 list.)

• Tracked the development of the "It Gets Better" Project.
  
  
• Highlighted how users were documenting the northeastern holiday blizzard.
  
  
• And saw protests in London, floods in Australia, and unrest in Moscow airports.
